This section allows you to enter general information about the sample:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Client<\/strong>: Select a client from the dropdown list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Project<\/strong>: Choose the project associated with this sample.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Status<\/strong>: Indicate the current status of the sample (e.g., \u201cIn Progress\u201d, \u201cCompleted\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sampling Date<\/strong>: Enter the date when the sample was collected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Opening Date<\/strong>: Date when the sample was opened or prepared for testing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Diameter<\/strong>: Enter the sample diameter (in mm or cm, as per your unit convention).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Length<\/strong>: Enter the total length of the sample.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Average Opening<\/strong>: Mean crack or joint opening (if applicable).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Storage<\/strong>: Indicate where the physical sample is stored.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Test Environment<\/strong>: Describe environmental conditions during testing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Operator<\/strong>: Person responsible for sampling or handling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Location<\/strong>: Exact sampling location (coordinates, description, or code).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Top \/ Bottom Depth<\/strong>: Depth range from which the sample was extracted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sample Type<\/strong>: Select the type (e.g., \u201cCore\u201d, \u201cIn situ\u201d, \u201cLab\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Observations<\/strong>: Free text field for notes, comments, or additional details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    2. Tab: Tests<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n

    Add and manage tests associated with this sample:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Add<\/strong>: Opens a form or selection dialog to add a new test.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Delete<\/strong>: Removes a selected test from the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Tests Table<\/strong>: Displays added tests with Type<\/strong> and Test Name<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      3. Tab: Lithology<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n

      Record lithological descriptions by layer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Each row represents one layer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      • Description<\/strong>: Brief description of the geological material (e.g., \u201cGrey clay\u201d, \u201cSandy soil\u201d).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Once all data is entered, click Save<\/strong> to store the new sample.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Project<\/strong>: Filter by project name or code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Client<\/strong>: Type the client\u2019s name or part of it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Type<\/strong>: Specify the sample type (e.g., \u201cCore\u201d, \u201cLaboratory\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Filter<\/strong>: Applies the entered filters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Clear<\/strong>: Resets all fields and displays all samples.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Displays a paginated list of samples with the following details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Reference<\/strong>: Unique identifier for the sample.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Project<\/strong>: Associated project name or code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Client<\/strong>: Client name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Location<\/strong>: Where the sample was taken.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Type<\/strong>: Sample type (e.g., \u201cCore\u201d, \u201cIn situ\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Top \/ Bottom Depth<\/strong>: Depth interval of extraction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Tests Requested<\/strong>: Indicates whether tests have been assigned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Status<\/strong>: Current status (e.g., \u201cPending\u201d, \u201cIn Progress\u201d, \u201cCompleted\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Progress<\/strong>: Progress bar or percentage showing test completion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
